    Technical Solutions Engineer

    TECHNICAL SOLUTION ENGINEER

    • Perform Technical Installations and maintenance of solutions.
    • Proactively assist customers with technical issues that may arise with their solution implementation.
    • Prioritize incoming technical issues. Escalate issues (when required) to the appropriate quarters.
    • Record, track, and document the customer service request problem-solving process through to final resolution; including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions taken.
    • Constantly stay ahead in communicating with customers. Manage expectations properly to avoid escalations.
    • Strategize with Account Sales Specialists and Product Managers to drive sales of Solutions offerings.
    • Interact with prospective and existing clients to collect information and provide proposed solutions. Design and develop technical solutions and documents as may be required.
    • Perform client needs evaluation by working with Sales in Pre-Sales solution capacity.
    • Develop and deliver targeted Power point presentations.
    • Participate in seminars, trade shows and oversee internal and external Product Technical demonstrations.
    • Involve actively in training programs as well as pass certification exams.
    • Providing timely weekly, monthly and quarterly achievement reports to line manager
    • Be a team player communicating with colleagues and other department members.
    • Any other duty assigned by line Manager.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record of 2-3 years in enterprise hardware/software ICT Solutions and services and related technology.
    • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
    • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
    • Knowledge and experience in presales is a plus.
    •  Experience and familiarity with ICT industry and solutions and services a plus.
    • Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Positive, service-oriented personality
    • Willingness to travel
    • A Bachelor of Science degree/HND in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computing Industry Certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE) or a related field is strongly preferred.
