We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting and selling our construction chemicals products to customers in the construction industry.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in construction chemicals and excellent sales and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Lead and Manage Sales Team: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, sales team, and other stakeholders on our construction chemicals products, including product selection, application, and troubleshooting.
Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including contractors, architects, engineers, and owners, to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, and applications.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with company goals and objectives.
Develop and Manage Sales Budget: Develop and manage sales budget, including forecasting, expense management, and ROI analysis.
Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including new technologies, products, and applications, to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant Professional Certifications
Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in technical sales or a related field, preferably in the construction chemicals industry.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge of construction chemicals, excellent sales and leadership skills, ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and proficiency in CRM software.
