    Technical Assistant (Product Management)

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a highly organised, analytical, and technically grounded Technical Assistant to support project management activities within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to coordinate telecom projects, track execution timelines, support operational reporting, and drive effective project delivery across multiple initiatives.
    • The successful candidate must possess strong project coordination abilities, excellent reporting and stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of telecom operations and infrastructure projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical and operational support on telecom-related projects and strategic initiatives.
    • Assist in coordinating project execution, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
    • Track and monitor project activities, risks, dependencies, and progress updates across teams.
    • Prepare project reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and performance trackers for management review.
    • Support planning, scheduling, and follow-up on telecom deployment and infrastructure projects.
    • Collaborate with technical, commercial, and operations teams to gather updates and ensure alignment on deliverables.
    • Attend project and stakeholder meetings, document minutes, and ensure timely follow-through on action points.
    • Analyse project and operational data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Maintain organised documentation for project plans, technical reports, approvals, and communication records.
    • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and third-party partners to support project coordination activities.
    • Handle confidential business and operational information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
    • Provide light executive and administrative support where required in alignment with operational priorities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
    • 4–7 years’ experience in a Technical Assistant, Project Coordinator, PMO Support, or Project Management role within the telecommunications industry.
    • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, deployment processes, network operations, or technical project execution.
    • Experience supporting cross-functional project teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent analytical, organisational, and multitasking skills.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to interpret technical information and present insights in a business-friendly manner.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

    Technical Skills & Tools:

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
    • Familiarity with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of telecom technologies such as Fibre, FTTH, LTE/4G/5G, Transmission, or Network Rollout projects is an advantage.
