Technical Assistant - Comprehensive HIV / TB Program at Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi)

Description

• Will support and scale up the implementation of strategies aimed at improving HIV testing efficiencies including partner notification services, genealogy testing and other strategies as agreed, support optimal linkage and enrolment rates for identified HIV positive adult, adolescent and pediatric clients, support the implementation of test and start strategy including same day ART enrolment for identified HIV positive adults, adolescent and pediatric patients and other technical approaches as they evolve.
• S/He will also support strategies aimed at optimizing retention in ART care and enhancing virologic suppression for adult, adolescent and pediatric patients enrolled in supported treatment locations.

Minimum Recruitment Standards

• MBBS with a minimum of 1-year post national youth service experience in clinical care
• Or Registered Nurse / Midwife / B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
• Or B.Sc in a related field with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience.
• A sound understanding of HIV/AIDS, TB, RH/HIV and TB/HIV technical areas.
