Technical and Mall Coordinator at Ascentech Services Limited

Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 Gross

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Technical & Mall Coordinator with strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting experience to manage the day-to-day technical operations of a large commercial mall. The ideal candidate must be able to personally troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, while also coordinating technicians, contractors and maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, generators, pumps and other building systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate daily technical and maintenance operations across the mall.
• Personally troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, generator, pump and other equipment faults.
• Supervise technicians, contractors and external service providers.
• Carry out routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures before they affect operations.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure faults are resolved promptly.
• Monitor critical equipment including generators, electrical panels, chillers/HVAC systems, pumps, water systems and other building utilities.
• Manage maintenance requests/work orders and ensure issues are properly tracked and closed.
• Provide technical support to tenants and mall operations while minimizing disruption.
• Monitor contractor performance and support vendor/maintenance activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc/HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years\' relevant experience in mall operations, facilities management, commercial property, hospitality, large retail facilities or a similar environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis is required.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, generators, pumps and other building systems.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating contractors/service providers.
• Ability to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in a shopping mall, large retail facility, hotel or other high-occupancy commercial facility is highly preferred
