    Technical Advisor (Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning and Adaptation)

    Job Description

    • Preston Associates is looking for a highly-skilled and experienced person to direct and coordinate implementation of program activities.
    • He/she will be responsible for developing proposals, writing technical reports, providing technical advice, and coordinating other technicians' activities. Motivation of team members by maintaining strong staff relations, efficient multitasking abilities, and being detail-oriented, are key to success.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing assistance in developing and implementing program outputs and activities.
    • Advising and sharing your expertise with Programme Team.
    • Developing proposals that respond to clients’ needs.
    • Coordinating technical activities and staff inputs
    • Supporting team members in their programming activities.
    • Contributing to strategic management, operational, and financial plans.

    Requirements

    • Master’s Degree in Health or Social Sciences, with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience in Programme Coordination within the Development Sector or Doctoral degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
    • Strong knowledge of standard research methodology and statistical software, is required.
    • Demonstrable ability to write high-level technical reports.
    • Superior team leadership qualities.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance.
    • Must be able to network with diverse stakeholders and clients, internally and domestically.
    • Proficiency in all the Microsoft Office Suite Packages
    • Covid-19 vaccination status required.

    Terms:

    • Full-time Position, Monday to Friday. Weekends as required.

    Travel Requirement:

    • 30% domestically, coverage includes North Western and North Eastern Nigeria. International travel as required.

    Salary Range
    Based on experience (N600,000 - N800,000 monthly).
