    Technical Adviser

    Key Responsibilities

    • Advise the Executive Team on all technical, design, and construction-related matters
    • Establish and enforce company-wide technical standards, protocols, and governance frameworks
    • Lead PMO oversight, ensuring structured methodologies, reporting systems, and risk controls
    • Drive adoption of modern construction practices (BIM, modular systems, sustainability, value engineering)
    • Implement digital systems for project tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring
    • Ensure alignment across Architectural, Structural, and MEP designs
    • Approve technical solutions for complex construction and site challenges
    • Oversee performance and deliverables of external consultants and technical partners
    • Maintain strict adherence to defined structural, functional, and aesthetic standards
    • Monitor project timelines and enforce milestone discipline across all sites
    • Ensure delivery within acceptable variance of project critical paths
    • Institutionalize continuous improvement systems, including structured “Lessons Learned” processes
    • Align technical execution with financial and budgetary controls
    • Lead technical evaluation of major tenders and subcontractor engagements
    • Manage enterprise-level risks, including material supply volatility and cost fluctuations
    • Drive a “Right First Time” culture across all project sites
    • Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
    • Oversee commissioning, snag resolution, and final project handovers

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
    • Minimum of 12–15 years’ progressive experience in construction or project leadership roles
    • Proven track record managing multiple large-scale developments simultaneously
    • Strong understanding of construction systems, structural integrity, and MEP coordination
    • Deep knowledge of construction economics, cost control, and value engineering
    • Familiarity with Lagos construction regulations and operating environment
    • Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and PMO structures
