Job Overview
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of automation initiatives across the enterprise, ensuring the successful identification, design, development, and deployment of RPA and intelligent automation solutions.
- Drive the execution of the automation pipeline by prioritizing high-impact opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost savings, turnaround time, and service quality.
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration between business units, RPA developers, IT teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and adoption of automation solutions.
- Apply structured methodologies and best-practice delivery frameworks to ensure scalability, governance, and continuous improvement of automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Pipeline Management:
- Define and manage the end-to-end automation delivery roadmap aligned with enterprise digitization objectives
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of automation opportunities across business units
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact (cost savings, FTE reduction, CX improvement, risk mitigation)
Delivery Oversight & Execution:
- Lead the full automation lifecycle: discovery → design → development → testing → deployment → hypercare
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of RPA solutions within agreed SLAs
- Manage dependencies across business, IT, and third-party vendors
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Process Discovery & Optimization:
- Oversee process assessments to identify automation opportunities and optimization areas
- Validate “To-Be” process designs to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance
- Ensure alignment of automation initiatives with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles
Stakeholder Management & Governance:
- Engage senior stakeholders to secure buy-in, funding, and sponsorship for automation initiatives
- Establish governance frameworks for automation delivery, including approval, risk management, and compliance checkpoints
- Provide regular reporting and dashboards on automation performance and pipeline status.
Team Leadership & Capability Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage Business Analysts, RPA Developers, and Process Analysts
- Build and scale automation delivery capabilities across the team
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all automation solutions meet quality, security, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee UAT, sign-offs, and production readiness activities
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with automation deployments
Value Realization & Continuous Improvement:
- Track and report realized benefits (FTE savings, cost reduction, TAT improvement, accuracy gains)
- Continuously optimize deployed solutions and identify opportunities for further enhancement.
Qualification & Experience
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 3 - 6 years' working experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a financial institution
- ITIL, PMP, PRINCE 2, CBAP, Professional Scrum Product Owner, Professional Scrum Master Certifications.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting large-scale or highly regulated financial institution
- Master’s Degree in relevant field
- Other relevant professional certifications and qualifications.
