Tax Accountant at Bave Design Studio

About the Role:

• We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team on a temporary two-month contract. This role involves organizing our accounting books, managing tax compliance, and ensuring all necessary documents are submitted accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax and VAT laws specific to Rivers State and Nigeria, and be adept at working with Zoho Books (preferred) or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Review and organize financial records for tax preparation and compliance.
• Ensure accurate filing of tax and VAT documents in line with Nigerian and Rivers State laws.
• Prepare and submit all required documentation efficiently and within deadlines.
• Provide guidance on tax structuring to optimize compliance and financial accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and documents.

Requirements:

• Location: Based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
• Experience: Strong background in Nigerian tax law, VAT regulations, and general accounting practices.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Zoho Books (preferred) or QuickBooks.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to work quickly, and deliver accurate results.
• Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule for the next two months.
