Job Summary

• The System / Network Administrator will oversee and support the day-to-day operation of computer systems and networks throughout the organization, ensuring reliable performance and data integrity in Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) and organization intranets.

Qualification Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required with at least four years of experience with LAN and WAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems, topologies, and protocols required.
• Experience in A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Job Competency Requirements:

• Ability to configure and install Network and Operating Systems
• Ability to ensure networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures.
• Ability to monitor System Performance and provide user technical support
• Ability to conduct Data Backups, oversee Backend Infrastructure and enhance server and system performance
• Ability to monitor and analyses network load traffic and utilization trends
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
