    Sustainability Manager

    Job Description

    • Develop and implement strategies to promote the Eko Carbon Exchange’s works including the Climathon and partnership program, and other strategic initiatives in the climate change, recycling and waste management industry.
    • Establish and grow relationships with industry participants, including offset project developers, green tech start-ups, carbon emissions offset, trainings and workshops. etc.
    • Serve as a liaison with other external groups, including new business contacts and the general public especially on projects concerning climate change, recycling and green economy.
    • Oversee the management and analysis of contacts and opportunities in Salesforce.
    • Speak to interested organizations about our organization, as well as plan and support speaking opportunities at workshops, webinars and other events to promote the organization and its work on the promotion of a green economy, waste management, recycling etc.
    • Assist with identifying new marketing and promotional opportunities for the organization.
    • Generate database on companies and client background information (company history, recent market, competitors, key decision makers and other crucial information to a better understanding of prospective clients).
    • Prepare business reports and corporate presentations to new and key corporate clients on the company’s services.

    Job Requirements
    Education & Skills:

    • B.Sc in Business Administration / Management or any other related Business fields.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Computing and research skills;
    • Proficient in Microsoft office and relevant software.

    Experience:

    • 3 - 5 years work experience.
    • Experience in any or all of the experiences below is required:
      • Tech driven Green companies
      • Green Economy Initiatives/Workshops
      • Climate Change start-ups and initiatives.

Takes personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight. Performs tasks with care and checks work for completeness and accuracy. Remains aware and takes care of details that are easy to overlook or dismiss as insignificant.
    • Is open to new ideas and perspectives, actively works to identify new opportunities.
    • Able to work across different programs within the organization.

    Salary
    N250,000 - N300,000 Per month (Net-Grade)
