JOB SUMMARY

• The Strategic Communication Specialist will develop and implement high-impact communication strategies to support donor-funded programmes and cross-sector initiatives. The role will focus on shaping narratives that influence policy, shift institutional culture, and engage diverse stakeholders through evidence-based and human-centered communication approaches.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, International Development, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in communications.
• Proven ability to design and implement strategic communication campaigns.
• Strong skills in media engagement, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Demonstrated capacity to work with complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring communication outcomes and analytics tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
