Store Officer at CWAY Foods and Beverages Nigeria

Job Description

• You are required tokeep stock of inventory and manage all operations in the store. From ordering, receiving to managing inventory, these professionals ensure safe custody of all store-related inventory.
• General knowledge of inventory management and store handling procedures.

Apart from this, a storekeeper performs various day-to-day activities:

• Manage all operations of the store
• Ensure goods receipt note (GRN) and Goods Issue Note (GIN) is issue timely and accurately
• Verify all goods arrived as per agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed quantity have been received
• Keep records of items transferred to another location
• Maintain records of diesel purchase and consumption.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure that essential items are always available.
• Conduct regular inspections of inventory to identify and remove any damaged or expired items and report to supervisor.
• Address issues related to inventory shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items promptly.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of the store-keeping process.
• Other duties that may be assigned to you by your Supervisor.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in any Social or Science related discipline
• 1-3 years of cognate work experience as Storekeeper
• Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with inventory management and optimization techniques
• High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
• Integrity, professionalism and integrity
• Experience with farm operation will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
