    Store Manager

    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a passion for premium beverages and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, leading staff, and ensuring our store maintains its reputation for excellence in the Lekki area.

    Key Responsibilities

    Store Operations & Management

    • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the store environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing
    • Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries
    • Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and security measures
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant alcohol retail regulations and licensing requirements
    • Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reconciliation
    • Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, and store performance

    Sales & Customer Service

    • Drive store sales growth and profitability through effective merchandising and sales strategies
    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met
    • Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and resolve complaints professionally
    • Build relationships with regular customers and develop strategies to attract new clientele
    • Organize and oversee in-store events such as tastings and product launches

    Inventory & Product Management

    • Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage shrinkage prevention
    • Stay current with market trends in the beverage industry
    • Select and introduce new products based on customer preferences and market trends
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in liquor retail or similar premium retail environment
    • Proven track record of driving sales and managing retail operations

    Skills & Knowledge

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of wines, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages (formal certifications a plus)
    • Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems
    • Understanding of retail merchandising principles
    • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
