Stock Control Officer at University Press PLC

Job Description

• Receive and check stock from printers and depots
• Pick stock to be loaded to depots on pallets
• Sort and return stock to the appropriate location in the warehouse
• Issue, pack and deliver stock to customers and depots
• Ensure stock is properly stacked on pallets during offloading, and taken to the appropriate stock location
• Ensure safekeeping of company inventory

Qualification & Required Skills  

• B.Sc./Higher National Diploma in Purchasing & Supply, logistics, 
• Business Administration or any other related discipline with minimum of second-class lower division or lower credit
• At least two (2) years post-qualification work experience in a similar position
• Not more than 35 years of age
• Must have the ability to pay attention to details
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and perform well under pressure
• Must have organization and time management skills
• Must be pro-active and versatile
• Computer literacy
• Applicant must be resident in the respective locations
