Sourcing Expert (Contract) at Jotna Nigeria Limited

JOB SUMMARY

The Sourcing Expert will be responsible for sourcing and reaching out to qualified candidates for current open roles by using databases, Social Media & Professional Networks/Platforms. Your responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions and supporting the Group Talent Acquisition Manager as needed.

The Sourcing Expert must have Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Github etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SOURCING

• Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
• Source candidates using various sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Github etc.
• Participate in job fairs
• Go to universities to identify potential talents.
• Support the souring of candidates for Graduate / Management Trainees.
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.

SCREENING/CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS

• Screen resumes and job applications.
• Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
• Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive).
• Review employment applications and background check reports.
• Submit weekly tracker / progress report.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING/MANAGEMENT

• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
• Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
• Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
• Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”

BUILD/MANAGE CANDIDATE DATABASE

• Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant is required.
• Professional qualification, such as CIPM, SHRM or CIPD is essential.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience in a similar role.
• At least 3 years experience in Consulting or Manufacturing Environment.
• Good Knowledge of Candidate Selection Methods
• Communications and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
• Knowledge of Sourcing Techniques on social media and niche professional websites especially LinkedIn.
• Excellent Organization and Planning Skills.
• Relationship Management Skills
• Excellent Time Management Skills.
