Job Description
- Conduct soil sampling and field investigations
- Analyze soil composition, structure, and fertility
- Evaluate soil health and recommend improvement methods
- Develop soil management and conservation plans
- Advise on appropriate fertilizers and nutrient management
- Support crop selection based on soil conditions
- Monitor soil quality and environmental impact
- Conduct laboratory testing and interpret results
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with farmers, agronomists, and researchers
- Assess land suitability for agricultural use
- Implement erosion control and land restoration strategies
- Ensure compliance with environmental and agricultural regulations
- Use GIS and data tools for soil mapping and analysis
- Conduct research to improve soil productivity and sustainability.
