Software Developer Intern at Gurugeeks Royalty

Purpose of Job

To assist our senior software engineers co-design, build, test and implement software solutions while learning and training towards becoming a fully capable software engineer.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior software team to develop applications (coding, programming)
• Debugging and Testing code.
• Documenting and testing new software applications
• Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues.
• Approaching problems and creating solutions.
• Support senior colleagues in developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Document details of coding projects through a standardized process of writing program descriptions, cataloguing changes made and recording any special instruction.
• Proactively research and learn new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments.

Required Technical Stack

• Nodejs, PHP, Python, Java, React, Django

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor's/HND degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Experience with various programming languages
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
• Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
