Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Officer with a proven track record in managing multiple social media accounts, community engagement, and content execution. 
• The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills, understand the dynamics of digital audiences, and be proficient with automation tools and productivity software. 
• You must be capable of interpreting creative direction and translating it into compelling social media content.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with brand strategy and campaign goals
• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages (DMs), and tagged posts in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
• Build and nurture an online community that reflects the brand's tone, values, and voice
• Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement, followers, and reach across platforms
• Collaborate with the creative/design team to interpret and execute art direction across visual and written content
• Write clear, concise, and compelling captions and posts in grammatically correct English
• Use social media automation and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.) for streamlined content delivery
• Track, analyze, and report performance metrics with insights and suggestions for improvement
• Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and content best practices.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
