Social Media Manager/PR Specialist at Banquet of Hope Charity Foundation

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Social Media Manager/PR Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in managing our NGO’s online presence, maintaining engaging social media platforms, and running impactful campaigns to solicit funds and partnerships from corporate organizations and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

 Fundraising Campaigns:

• Develop and implement strategies to secure funding from companies and corporate donors.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential sponsors and philanthropic organizations.
• Create persuasive pitches, proposals, and campaigns to attract donations and sponsorships.

Social Media Management:

• Manage and update the NGO’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) with creative and engaging content.
• Highlight the NGO’s projects, success stories, and impact to foster engagement and awareness.
• Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and grow our online community.
• Use analytics tools to track performance and improve social media strategies.

Public Relations:

• Craft press releases, media announcements, and public-facing communications to enhance the NGO’s visibility.
• Serve as a liaison with media outlets to promote the organization’s mission and achievements.
• Represent Banquet of Hope in public events and forums when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management, apublic relations, or corporate fundraising.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity in content creation and campaign development.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
• A passion for social impact and community development.
• Experience in NGO or non-profit organizations is a plus.
