Job Description

• We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented SME Leasing Officer to support and grow our SME leasing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lease structuring, client relationship management, and credit analysis within a financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective SME clients for leasing products.
• Evaluate lease applications by conducting credit and risk assessments.
• Structure lease facilities in line with company policies and risk appetite.
• Monitor lease accounts to ensure timely payments and compliance.
• Prepare and present lease proposals for management approval.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive renewals and referrals.
• Collaborate with credit, risk, and legal teams to ensure seamless documentation and disbursement.
• Generate periodic reports on lease portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of a First Degree in any discipline (Finance, Business Admin, or related field preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in SME leasing within a financial institution.
• Good understanding of leasing operations, credit analysis, and risk management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
