Role Overview:

• We are looking for a dedicated SME Banker to join our team, focusing on serving the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting SMEs and a strong understanding of financial products tailored to their requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a portfolio of SME clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
• Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk analyses to determine creditworthiness and mitigate potential risks associated with lending to SMEs.
• Collaborate with SME clients to offer financial advice, identify growth opportunities, and provide guidance on utilizing banking products effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, acting as their primary point of contact for banking services and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory requirements affecting SMEs, and use this knowledge to enhance the bank's offerings.
• Work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of delivering banking services to SME clients.
• Achieve set targets for loan disbursement, deposit mobilization, and other key performance indicators related to SME banking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Proven 4-5 years of experience in SME banking or related financial services, preferably within a microfinance or banking environment.
• Strong understanding of SME financial needs, including credit assessment, risk management, and financial advisory services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness of SMEs.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet targets and drive business growth.
