    Shop Assistant

    Responsibilities
    Shop Management:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support to all walk-ins.
    • Keep the store tidy and clean, this includes cleaning, mopping, etc.
    • Ensure the safety and security of all the company’s assets; stock, display products, computers, phones, fans, furniture, etc., within the store.
    • Control all access in and out of the store.
    • Keep up to date with special promotions and put up corresponding displays.
    • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stock/retail point.
    • Ensure all statutory and obligatory payments are made on time: local government levies, security, waste management, maintenance, etc.
    • Prepare and disseminate all required reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to relevant parties/departments
    • Source for minor consumables which are not provided by the HQ, in line with the guidelines provided by the supply-chain department.
    • Oversee the work of any contractors and suppliers working within the store.
    • Ensure full compliance with health and safety guidelines within the store.
    • Collect payments from customers (Cash, POS, USSD, etc) and ensure all cash payments are deposited in the bank at the end of the day.

    Customer Management:

    • Handle all walk-in customer inquiries and complaints.
    • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
    • Ensure all customer problems/issues are escalated to the appropriate function in a timely manner.
    • Provide customers with information about Oolu products, payment plans & options.
    • Perform demos of all products for walk-in customers.
    • Gather information to accurately identify the customer’s solar needs and pass it on to the field team.
    • Seize opportunities to sell and upsell products when they arise.

    Stock Management:

    • Carry out daily/weekly/monthly stock and inventory activities
    • Deal with replacement issues.
    • Receive stocks from HQ and distribute them to the field team in line with agreed levels of stock that can be held at each level in field teams.
    • Reconcile stocks before general monthly reconciliation with the Supply chain team.
    • Monitor stock reorder levels and request for stocks as and when required.
    • Balance stock registers(Hub) with physical stock.
    • Ensure full compliance with stock control and management as provided by the supply chain team.

    Sales Support:

    • Provide sales support to the field team in terms of activations, after-sales, etc.
    • Generate potential leads for new sales and share them with the field team.
    • Coordinate with field agents to relay information collected at the level of partners and other general information.
    • Follow up with agents to ensure all issues, faults, etc are ticketed and all tickets are closed upon completion of tasks.
    • Follow up with agents with lamps in the repossession bucket and outstanding repairs.

    Requirement

    • Candidates should possess an FSLC / OND qualification.
