SharePoint Tester at Tezza Business Solutions Ltd

SharePoint testers are responsible for delivering results from their test cases and scenarios coming from documents created in the SharePoint application program. They test these cases by loading, tracking, setting, designating, and documenting any signs of problems found in the case and implement resolution statuses when necessary. Once they finish testing the case, they execute a knowledge transfer to operational staff members of the company for them to perform their assigned tasks with the tested product.

Duties

• Hands over the case and scenario results created by the SharePoint application program to operational staff members of the company.
• Testing cases and scenarios by loading, keeping track, formulating, designating, documenting any issues or complications on the case and implementing resolutions on the issue when necessary.
• Executes different testing methods for the SharePoint document based on its performance, functionality and relapses.
• Executes knowledge transfer procedure to operational staff members of the company.
• Executes a user acceptance testing (UAT) procedure on the case review requirements and design document and ensure they are understood.
• Participate in creation of the Test Plan
• Perform and adhere to what is outlined in the Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Create test cases that trace back to requirement and design.
• Perform a smoke test of the environment to ensure it is setup accurately to test against.
• Prepare test data to use during execution.
• Execute test cases, record results and report progress.
• Effectively record defects that are easily communicated and understood.
• Incorporate changes that are made in sustain back into that applications testing documentation.
• Re-use existing testing documentation for new projects/releases.
• Incorporate test results and changes/defect into test case.

Requirements

• Has experience working as a system tester for four (4) years or more.
• Must have experience testing documents in the sharePoint application with the use of Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Regression and Production Validation (RPV) testing.
• Must have experience working as a tester in a SharePoint environment.
• Knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
• Knowledge of API testing using any API testing tool such as Postman, Soap UI and Katalon
• Use of Apache Jmeter
• Knowledge of Test Automation using selenium web driver, katalon studio, cypress and others 
• Understanding of scrum development and agile process 
• Understanding of integration testing, end to end testing, functional and non-functional testing, regression testing etc.
