The desired candidates will work with the Headquarter M&E team to support the implementation of robust monitoring and evaluation systems in the various states. S/He will be responsible for collating the program data at the State level and ensuring quality data reports for the program in the state.
Other Specific Tasks
Develop and track progress of M&E work plan
Provide technical support for institutional DHIS2 platform maintenance and issue resolutions
Provide technical support for quarterly reporting to DATIM
Run routine validation scripts to ensure compliance to logic checks and validation rules
Support intermittent reviews of gaps and outlier analysis and validation rules for various thematic areas
Provide technical guidance for regular platform updates and upgrades
Liaise with the IT team to improve user experience and resolve arising issues with the DHIS2 platform.
Build users’ capacity to enter data, analyze and provide regular reports using DHIS2
Provide data analysis and management support and ensure regular maintenance of databases/information systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Must possess a First Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Behavioural/Social Sciences, Public Health, Demography, Biostatistics, Statistics, or a relevant field.
Must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the field of HIV prevention.
Must have intermediate knowledge of SPSS or STATA or knowledge of DHIS, MS-Access or other compatible database software will be of added advantage.
