We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to develop and execute engaging, platform-specific social media strategies that drive audience growth and content performance across Pulse’s owned platforms and for client brands.
This role blends creative content execution with data-driven planning, requiring a strong grasp of social trends, platform best practices, and brand storytelling.
You will collaborate closely withcross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent, impactful content that aligns with overall brand and campaign objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, create, and publish high-quality content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Develop and manage content calendars for a variety of clients and brands in coordination with wider marketing and campaign plans.
Collaborate with art-directors, copywriters, and strategists to ensure cohesive, engaging storytelling and brand consistency.
Monitor and engage with audiences to support community management and build brand loyalty.
Analyze performance metrics across all social media platforms and campaigns to optimize posts and inform content strategy.
Prepare reports on performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and trends for internal and client review.
Contribute to a culture of creativity, innovation, and teamwork within the social media department to keep strategies fresh, engaging, and relevant.
Stay up to date with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and platform innovations to keep strategies current and competitive.
Support the planning and execution of both organic and paid campaigns across platforms.
Oversee social media coverage and real-time amplification of client events, including on-ground content capture, live posting, and post-event content wrap-ups to maximize reach and engagement.
Share social media best practices with the wider team and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a digital agency or media setting.
Proven track record of creating and managing successful social campaigns across major platforms.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different brands and audiences.
Proficiency in social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or similar.
Familiarity with video content creation and editing tools is a plus.
Solid understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and content best practices.
Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
