Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nigeria for a Senior SME Loan Officer.
• The Senior SME Loan Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of loan applications, including assessing creditworthiness, underwriting, and loan origination.
• In addition, the role involves providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with SME clients to understand their financial needs.
• The Senior Loan Officer will also collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements while achieving business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Loan Origination and expertise in loan application processes
• Strong skills in Finance and Underwriting, with the ability to assess and mitigate risk effectively
• Excellent Customer Service skills to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Experience working as a Loan Officer, particularly in SME lending
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Prior experience in microfinance or SME banking is highly desirable
