    Senior Sales Executive

    Summary

    We are seeking a proactive, performance-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our Securities Trading team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the company’s revenue growth by expanding institutional and high-net-worth individual (HNI) client portfolios. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, originating and closing transactions, and deepening client relationships to increase Assets Under Management (AUM), brokerage income, and cross-sell opportunities across the Group. This senior-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic sales team and engage directly with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and institutional clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and acquire new clients for securities trading products.
    • Manage and grow assigned client portfolios through consistent engagement and superior service delivery.
    • Execute sales strategies that align with business goals and contribute to revenue growth.
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends in the capital market.
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and increased trading activity.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Research, Trading, and Operations) to ensure seamless client experience.
    • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (SEC, NGX) and internal policies.
    • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales performance reports.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5–7 years of experience in sales of securities or investment products within a licensed capital market firm.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
    • Sound knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and trading operations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
    • Strong analytical mindset and results-oriented approach.
    • Professional certifications such as CIS (Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers) or SEC-authorized representative license will be an added advantage.
