This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sales Executive (Conferences and Events) based in Nigeria.
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for selling sponsorships and partnerships for high-profile conferences and events, developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, managing client portfolios, and achieving sales targets.
The role involves conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Regular reporting and continued professional development are also integral to the position.
Qualifications
Proven sales and marketing skills, including sales pipeline management, client acquisition, and achievement of revenue targets
5–8 years’ experience in corporate sales, preferably in conference sponsorship and event partnership sales
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience in market research, understanding market trends, and identifying opportunities to grow major client accounts
Ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close corporate clients across key industries
Proven experience leading large-ticket deals and contributing to overall event growth strategy
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or a related field
Commitment to achieving results while adapting to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
