• As a Senior Reciprocating Compressor Field Specialist, you will be in charge of coordinating and managing a team on Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.

As a Senior Reciprocating Compressor Field Specialist in the IET business, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and managing a team on Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
• Interfacing with the Customer Representative and the Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
• Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Reciprocating compressors, SRL compressors, and turbomachinery equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
• Performing in autonomy the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Reciprocating compressors, SRL compressors, and turbomachinery equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
• Coordinating and organizing the commissioning and start-up activities of IET rotating equipment.
• Responsible to make sure that all required records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to by the TPS Site team are properly stored in the company tool.
• Promoting and maintaining good team and Customer relations at all time.
• Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all TPS Service applicable processes and procedure.
• Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.
• Controlling site work progress, with special reference to subcontracted manpower, in order to ensure timely completion of works.
• Communicating progress data, and the reasons for eventual discrepancies, to Installation Manager and Customers.
• Managing Field Specialists/Operators and subcontracted manpower.
• Providing troubleshooting support on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
• Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Turbomachinery rotating equipment.
• Have specialized on Reciprocating Compressor Products (PK type and H-Series)
• Have acquired expertise in more than one IET rotating Equipment product.
• Have a specialized knowledge on Reciprocating Compressor Products.
• Have an extensive technical knowledge in one or more TPS Rotating Equipment.
• Have a knowledge and the skills to actively coordinate, organize and manage On Call and Lump Sum and TURNKEY contract types.
• Ability to Mentor and Coach junior Field Specialist.
