Role Description

• The Senior Radiographer (Highly Experienced CT Technologist) will oversee and perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with medical staff for accurate diagnoses. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Asaba.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms for imaging procedures.
• Position patients correctly and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment including CT scan, X-ray, and other radiographic machines.
• Ensure appropriate radiation safety standards are strictly followed.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety at all times.
• Input and manage patient data and imaging details in the system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals on patient diagnosis and care.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all imaging procedures.
• Report equipment faults and ensure proper maintenance of imaging machines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years relevant work experience.
• Valid practicing license.
• Proficiency in 128-Slice CT, X-ray, and related imaging procedures.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
