Senior Quantity Surveyor at Collection Developments

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain the project cost plan from initial estimates through to the final account
• Prepare and agree monthly interim valuations with the client\'s representative; submit payment applications on schedule
• Prepare subcontract tender packages in coordination with the Commercial Manager; evaluate tenders and produce appointment recommendations
• Manage the bill of quantities; measure all variations against the agreed schedule of rates or fair market value
• Prepare and agree subcontractor interim payments on a monthly basis
• Maintain the variation register; produce variation accounts for agreement with the client
• Produce cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections for the Commercial Manager
• Manage and supervise the Site Quantity Surveyor
• Support the Commercial Manager in the final account process

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying; NIQS or RICS membership
• Minimum 12 years of quantity surveying experience with demonstrated experience on major residential or mixed-use construction projects in Nigeria

• Strong measurement and valuation skills; precise and consistent
• Good knowledge of construction costs and market rates in Lagos
• Commercially alert; able to identify undervaluation or missed entitlements quickly
