Senior Planning Engineer at Trucrete Solutions Limited

Role Overview

Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced and result-driven Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and construction project controls within large-scale infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other planning tools
• Prepare baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource loading, and project timelines
• Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against approved plans
• Identify project delays, risks, and critical path activities, while recommending corrective actions
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and management to ensure effective project delivery
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and performance dashboards
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material allocation against project schedules
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control activities
• Ensure proper documentation of project planning records, changes, and schedule updates
• Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights for decision-making
• Lead and supervise planning activities across multiple project sites where required

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction planning and project controls
• B.Sc./HND in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other planning/reporting tools
• Relevant professional certifications in Project Planning or Project Management are an advantage (PMP, PMI-SP, PRINCE2, CCP, etc.)
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing, and resource planning
• Experience working on infrastructure, road, civil, or building construction projects
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines
