    Senior Pipeline/SURF Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Review the pipeline route survey and pipelay progress
    • Prepare the documentation required by the necessary regulatory bodies with special reference to the pipeline route survey and laying works
    • Develop specifications for material selection, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and operation
    • Provide offshore pipelay barge engineering support
    • Carry out site visits, as required, to confirm that works are being executed by Contractors as specified in the Contract and with optimum planning
    • Participate in Design Reviews and all aspects of Risk Assessments
    • Review contractors’ deliverables
    • Coach and develop of Engineers within discipline
    • Incorporate safety into engineering and comply with Company’s HSSE policies in day-to-day activities
    • Monitor the performance of contractors and suggest remedial actions
    • Assist teams during construction and commissioning phase
    • Ensure that works by Contractors meet Company standards and relevant industry codes
    • Manage interfaces both internally and externally
    • Participate in change control panel meetings

    Qualifications

    • BSc or equivalent in Pipeline/Subsea/Civil/Mechanical
    • Engineering or similar
    • Minimum 15 years of discipline experience in upstream oil and gas projects preferably in offshore environment Previous Operator experience

    Desired attributes

    • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong technical, analytical, innovative and commercials skills
    • Good leadership skills to lead discipline department Fluent spoken and written English language
    • Solid working knowledge of International Codes and Standards
    • Solid working knowledge of offshore oil and gas production systems and equipment
    • Familiar with discipline software - Abaqus, Orcaflex, Caesar, Offpipe,

    KPI

    • Turnaround of contractors’ deliverables review
    • Up to date and accurate data relating to seabed surveys, pipeline routings, pipeline as-built database Zero LTIs
