A reputable plastics manufacturing company is looking to hire a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in PVC shoe production. This role requires deep technical expertise in mechanical systems used in footwear manufacturing, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to maintenance and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of PVC shoe manufacturing equipment.
Supervise engineers and technicians to ensure efficient operations.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot machinery issues to minimize downtime.
Monitor performance data and recommend engineering improvements.
Train and mentor junior engineering staff.
Enforce safety and compliance standards.
Requirements
BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
15–20 years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in PVC footwear manufacturing.
Strong hands-on knowledge of injection molding machines and industrial mechanical systems.
Leadership experience in a factory or production environment.
