Senior Manager (Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting) at Phillips Consulting

He/ She will be responsible for tracking a company's financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. He/ She will provide insights and support optimal business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Develop accurate financial plans and forecasts based on analyses of the business’s operational needs
• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast
• Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance
• Evaluate business proposal documents and examine revenue and expense projections, capital expenditures, and other financial concerns
• Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modelling tools.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.
• Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.
• Support departments with in-depth, data driven analysis
• Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.

Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Finance, Accounts or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 10-12 Management Accounting and Control experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• A postgraduate degree in a relevant field will be an advantage.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA).Do you fit this?
