    Senior Legal Counsel

    Job Description.

    • Provide legal counsel to senior management and various departments on a wide range of legal issues, including but not limited to commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, employment matters, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, contracts, and legal documents to protect the interests of the company while fostering positive business relationships.
    • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Provide recommendations for minimizing exposure and liability.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in various jurisdictions where the
    • Handle or oversee dispute resolution matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
    • Assist in due diligence processes and support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Provide legal support for integration efforts post-transaction.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and practices. Manage board-related matters and maintain corporate records.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the industry. Conduct legal research and provide updates to the organization as needed.
    • Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams to enhance their understanding of legal issues and compliance requirements.

    Education and Experience

    • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience post call as a practicing attorney, with a focus on [relevant legal areas, e.g., commercial law, Litigation Law, corporate law, etc.   

    Required Competencies:

    • Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions in the best interests of the company.
