Senior Fund/Portfolio Manager at People Capacity Management

The role performs advanced portfolio oversight, strategy development, and team leadership. The holder is responsible for the formulation of investment strategies, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient trade execution, portfolio administration, and transaction processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment portfolios with a focus on mortgage-related assets, including MBS, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and other fixed-income products.
• Drive the strategic direction of portfolios to achieve superior returns while managing complex risks
• Develop enterprise-level risk models to evaluate portfolio exposure to prepayment, default, and market risks.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance against complex benchmarks and competitor portfolios.
• Report on portfolio returns, risk-adjusted performance, and strategic outlook to executive teams, boards, and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, such as SEC rules or industry standards and policies

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Must have relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA or FRM)
• 10–15 years of proven experience with a background in stock brokerage
• Understand mortgage-backed securities (MBS), collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs), and structured finance well
• Must have a good understanding of the Capital Market 
• Awareness of relevant regulations (e.g., SEC, CFPB, Basel III) impacting the mortgage industry and investment portfolios.
