Senior Frontend Engineer at Blockops Network

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications.
• Architect efficient and reusable frontend systems and components.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Design and implement scalable frontend architectures that can handle high-traffic loads while maintaining performance and reliability. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior front-end engineers. Help define and enforce frontend development best practices, coding standards, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs, and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure the robustness of front-end applications. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix frontend-related issues.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in front-end applications. Optimize application code, asset loading, and network requests to improve performance and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, tools, and trends. Share knowledge and insights with the team through documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate should have the following:

• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience as a frontend engineer, with a strong focus on web development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Experience with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Grunt, Gulp) and package managers (e.g., npm, Yarn).
• Strong knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend interfaces.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
