Our client is seeking an experienced and highly competent Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex power projects.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, managing project timelines and budgets. The role holder will also act as a technical advisor and represent the client in professional settings, including client meetings, industry conferences, and regulatory engagements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based internal audits across all departments in line with the annual audit plan.
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Perform special audits and investigations as required by management.
• Collaborate with management to assess potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

Person Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• COREN certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex power projects.
• Experience with renewable energy systems (utility scale, solar power PV and Battery Energy Storage) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of power system design, load analysis, and energy efficiency optimization.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently.
• Trustworthy, organized, and proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
