Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage her financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in accounting, proficiency in core accounting software, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
Manage and maintain the company's Peachtree accounting software system, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting
Prepare and submit financial reports to management and relevant stakeholders
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments
Inventory and stock management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural industry
Proficient in core accounting software, with experience in data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
ACA, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications is highly required
