The Senior Business Development Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities across Cavista Holdings and all our diverse portfolio of businesses. This role will drive revenue growth, partnerships, market expansion, and new business initiatives while working closely with executive leadership, subsidiary heads, and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution, with the ability to operate across multiple industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term business development strategies aligned with Cavista Holdings’ overall growth objectives.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to support investment and expansion decisions.
Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships and alliances.
Lead negotiations and structuring of commercial agreements, ensuring favorable and sustainable outcomes.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities across Cavista Holdings and all our portfolio companies.
Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers.
Work closely with subsidiary leadership teams to identify cross-selling, upselling, and synergy opportunities across Cavista Holdings.
Translate market insights into actionable business cases and growth plans and support portfolio companies with go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and expansion plans.
Support evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures, including due diligence and post-investment integration planning.
Collaborate with finance and strategy teams on valuation models, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.
Prepare and present clear, data-driven business development reports, proposals, and updates to executive leadership and the Board.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on market trends, growth opportunities, and commercial risks.
Ensure business development activities follow global best practices, ethical standards, and governance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 8–12 years progressive experience in business development, strategy, consulting, or commercial leadership roles.
Proven experience driving growth in multi-business or holding company environments.
Strong track record of closing high-value deals and managing complex negotiations.
Experience working across multiple markets or regions is highly desirable.
Strong financial literacy, including business case development and commercial analysis
