    Senior Business Development Executive (Nigeria)

    The Senior Business Development Executive (Nigeria) will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Nigerian market. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the attractiveness of the Mauritius IFC in the structuring of investments into Nigeria, as well as its attractiveness for HNWIs in the context of asset protection and succession planning. An understanding of Mauritius legal structures would be an advantage. The Senior Business Development Executive will be based in Lagos. He/She will be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in business development and a deep understanding of the Nigerian market.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Nigerian market, with a focus on the attractiveness of the Mauritius IFC for structuring investments into Africa and for HNWIs in the context of asset protection and succession planning.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners in Nigeria.
    • Work closely with the team in Mauritius to develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's presence in Nigeria.
    • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and potential clients in Nigeria.
    • Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients, highlighting the benefits of working with the Mauritius IFC.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets as set by the company.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A Bachelor's degree in Law.
    • At least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience within a corporate/commercial law environment, preferably in the Nigerian market.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Proven track record of success in business development.
    • Deep understanding of the Nigerian market and the attractiveness of the Mauritius IFC for structuring investments into Nigeria & the rest of Africa and for HNWIs in the context of asset protection and succession planning.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with legal and business professionals in the Nigerian market. Strong existing network would be an advantage.
    • Understanding of Mauritius legal structures (advantageous).
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
