Senior Backend Engineer at KiaKia Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices
• Build robust API endpoints to support our lending products
• Optimize database performance, indexes, and query efficiency
• Establish technical standards and ensure code quality
• Mentor junior developers and conduct comprehensive code reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
• Integrate third-party services and manage dependencies
• Develop monitoring and alert systems for backend services
• Ensure the security of the backend infrastructure
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain codebase quality
• Analyze and improve system architecture
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues
• Contribute to the development of engineering best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong knowledge of Python, Django, or Node.js
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization
• Experience with financial systems is a plus
