A reputable HR Company seeks an experienced and qualified accountant for the role of Head of Account.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete accounting audits.
• Provide recommendations.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Requirements and skills

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise
• Liaising with the external auditors on finalization of the annual report and other outsourced assignments
• Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company's financial health. Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue.
