Summary

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team in Lagos.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and cost control processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Supervise junior accounting staff and improve internal controls.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management and accounting
• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Master’s degree and/or ICAN certification is an added advantage
• Hands-on experience with financial management/accounting software
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
