Overview

• We are seeking a highly experienced, qualified, and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 12 years of relevant accounting experience, including substantial experience in the downstream oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Ensure effective financial management across the company's operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in the downstream oil and gas sector.
• Must be a fully qualified ICAN member.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury management, and internal controls.
• Proven experience in financial management within the downstream oil and gas industry.
• Sound knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
