    Security Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and hotel property.
    • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in line with hotel standards.
    • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV), alarm systems, and conduct routine patrols of the premises.
    • Investigate security incidents, accidents, or disturbances and prepare detailed incident reports.
    • Ensure proper access control procedures are followed for guests, visitors, and vendors.
    • Conduct regular security briefings and training sessions for security staff.
    • Liaise with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
    • Schedule security shifts and ensure adequate coverage at all times.
    • Inspect hotel premises to identify potential security risks and recommend corrective measures.
    • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

    Requirement

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a security supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
    • OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field is an added advantage.
    • Proven experience in supervising security personnel and managing security operations.
    • Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and incident reporting procedures.
    • Strong understanding of safety regulations and emergency response management.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

    • High level of integrity, vigilance, and professionalism.
    • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations.
