    Security Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy & Policy Development

    • Develop and direct strategies for the security function, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
    • Establish, implement, and periodically review security policies, procedures, and SOPs tailored to the retail sector

    Operational Security Management

    • Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities, personnel, and security systems.
    • Ensure the proper deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of security equipment (e.g., CCTV).
    • Conduct periodic reviews of CCTV and incident logs to identify and report unusual or suspicious activities.
    • Security Guard Management
    • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate outsourced security personnel to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery.
    • Conduct routine assessments of security contractors to confirm adherence to company policies and standards.

    Incident & Risk Management

    • Act as the focal point for security incident reporting, investigation, and resolution.
    • Lead incident response planning, investigations, and corrective actions, including collaboration with law enforcement when required.
    • Prepare timely security reports and recommendations for management.

    Compliance & Audits

    • Collaborate with management, risk, and audit teams to ensure compliance with corporate security requirements.
    • Monitor adherence to legal and regulatory standards governing security operations.

    Stakeholder & External Relations

    • Maintain strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and other relevant external bodies.
    • Serve as the primary liaison for all security-related communications and escalations.

    People & Culture

    • Conduct background checks on prospective employees to support safe hiring practices.
    • Drive initiatives and training programs to build a security-conscious workforce across all levels of the business.

    General Duties

    • Respond promptly to security emergencies and requests.
    • Perform other security-related responsibilities as assigned to support smooth business operations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security or loss prevention, preferably in Retail/Hospitality/FMCG.
    • Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
    • Proficiency in CCTV operations, access control systems, and incident reporting tools.
    • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
