Driver at Ha-Shem Limited

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on all assigned vehicles at the beginning of each day.
• Ascertain that assigned cars areproperly cleaned and maintained and that any need for repairs is outlined and reported.
• Obtain orders for transporting people (staff members) or things todifferent locations, and ensure that they are carried outcorrectly.
• Assist staff in embarking and disembarking to and from the vehicle, ensuring their safety and well being.
• Receive items and documents for transport, and ensure that they are safely transported to their destinations.
• Use standard maps or the GPS to map safe routes to destinations, ensuring that timelines are met.
• Safely drive assigned office vehicles by following set driving rules and regulations.
• Transport staff to their destinations, or handle office pick-up duties, and deliver parcels and documents.
• Maintain contact with unit or team member to ensure that he or she is made aware of delivery or transport situation.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle documents are renewed when due and proper documentations on the vehicles are up todate.
• Make sure that preventive and regular maintenance on assigned vehicles are done and ensure that proper detailing is performed.
• Punctuality to work.

Driver Requirements

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Previous work experience as a Driver or a Delivery Driver in the Logistics industry.
• Holding a valid driver’s license.
• Having a clean driving and medical record.
• Complete knowledge of road safety rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with GPS tools and Google Maps.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent driving skills and road sense.
• Ability to work for long hours and on weekends.
• Well-groomed and highly motivated individual.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to offer excellent customer service.
